Aqua Gel is a new water based screen printable adhesive.
Aqua Gel is a one-part adhesive and is the best choice for transfer labels, foil transfers, etc.
Aqua Gel can be used as an adhesive for most types of heat transfers and fabrics.
APPLICATION DETAILS
Screen Mesh: 30 to 110 inch (10T to 44T cm) . Individual tests should be conducted to determine the thickness of adhesive required for particular application.
A) Direct screen printing on t-shirts/fabrics – Table printing
Screen print Aqua Gel 3500 TG directly onto the t-shirt/ fabric
Allow to dry for approx 24 hrs
Transfer Foil on final fabric by fusing
B) Transfer labels
Screen print water based ink on release film/ paper
Screen print Aqua Gel 5500 as top coat
Heat cure at approx 320 F(160 c) until the Aqua Gel melts and forms a film.
Transfer label on final fabric by fusing
Fusing Conditions:
Temp - 140- 150C
Time - 12-15 sec
Press - 2 to 3 bar
Cleanup:
Wash with water immediately after printing. Soap may be used.
